Hello Hello
The more time I have spent with death the more I know how to be alive

Let me tell you my story
All About Me
The Early Years
I am very grateful to have had 2 loving parents growing up who supported me in any way they could.
By the time I was an early teen I was starting to get interested in sport psychology to help me personally. I was eventing (horse riding) with the goal of becoming part of the youth British Team. By 15 I had competed abroad and by 16 missing out on selection due to injury.
This sporting world was a huge focus for me and taught me so much about high performance, pressure, controlling your mind and the mentality of success. What a gift at such an early age.

Death and It's impact
My world was then turned upside down when my dad passed away from cancer when I was just 18yrs old.
This totally changed the trajectory of my life. I went from having such a focus on competing to then switching into survival mode. This was the start of a long road with grief and it's many different faces.
I then 'ran away' to the other-side of the world to embark on travel. Whilst this ignited my love for travel, seeing and trying to understand other cultures, it also showed me that it doesn't matter where you go, you always bring yourself with you.

University Time
I came back home and went to University studying Business and Marketing with a year in Industry.
Whilst I loved my time at university it was also challenging going through grief. A new environment, joy, silliness, partying, learning and yet for me there was those things but also numbness, sadness, avoidance, drinking, a repression of what I was feeling to just 'carry on'.
After 4 years, winning Placement Student of the Year, becoming the Hockey Clubs Treasurer, working for HP Inc, muddling my way through grief and going through Covid. I graduated.
I had in mind that I wanted to go into sales, combining my competitive side with my love for understanding and spending time with people. Yet through the Covid period my perspective shifted. Many people around me really struggled and sort support from me which I tried my best to give. I noticed when the external world rocks people don't have any resources to manage their internal state and were very affected. This inspired me to learn how to actually help others from in a professional capacity and not just as a friend. So when I graduated I decided to start education again and began a Counselling qualification. It's never to late to change your path.
A New Path
I started training and loved it! But I thought that there must be a way to help to shift people once they have an awareness of their problem. I was then introduced to NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and this was fascinating. Change techniques that utilised your subconscious mind. This made change fast and lasting as it was working so deeply. I threw myself into learning about healing tools and processes training in as many different areas as I could to develop a rounded approach as I truly believe that one size does not fit all. So I wanted to become as multifaceted as possible to be able to support my clients to the best of my ability.
Throughout another 4 year long training process, I had 3 jobs alongside and was very much 'doing the work' myself. I am qualified as an Integrative Counsellor, an NLP Master, a Master Coach, Hypnosis Practitioner, TimeLine Practitioner, Reiki II, Shamanic Practitioner and many other areas.
Everything that I now do with clients I have done myself.
Through 30hrs of personal therapy (a requirement of becoming a counsellor) I navigated grief and loss, understood my past behaviours, developed so much more compassion for myself and sky rocketed my self awareness.
Through NLP, TimeLine therapy and working with a coach for 6 months. I re-wired my limiting beliefs that were holding me back, let go of old emotions that were weighing me down and unleashed an energy that I knew I had but just didn't seem to be able to access. I felt unleashed.
Through a deep meditation practice and psychedelic experiences I have a softer appreciation of how powerful we all are, our interconnected nature and an awareness of how changing our own energy/state will alter your perspective on life. As within, so without.

I am a walking testament of the work I have done and so value. From going through almost a decade of grief, from feeling numb, exhausted all the time, like the world was grey to now experiencing my radiance, energy and vitality!

My Work
I now work roughly 50/50 across life and death.
Having worked as a volunteer for Cruse Bereavement for years (and still volunteering there now) as well as working privately with people around bereavement, I support people through the painful transition of life after loss. Find out more about this type of work here.
I have found the closer to me that I keep death, the more I learn about living and loving, about vitality and what it means to be alive.
I bring this, combined with science and skill, to help people who want to live a little bigger, to break free from their own barriers and to live a life of freedom (however they define it).

I know how short life can be. I aim to LIVE life, not just go through the motions!

That's enough about me
I'm here to help you x
